Where We Work
Foundation Repair of Huntsville covers Huntsville and the communities around it. If your home is in the list below, the inspection is free.
Communities We Serve
Huntsville · Madison · Meridianville · Harvest · Hazel Green · Toney · Owens Cross Roads · New Hope · Gurley · Triana · Brownsboro
Some of these have a page of their own, because what we get called out for varies more than you would expect across a metro this size:
- Foundation repair in Madison, AL - a historic district and two decades of fast new construction, which fail in different ways.
- Foundation repair in Owens Cross Roads, AL - large lots, a lot of recent building, and drainage that is usually handled by grade rather than by a storm system.
Not on the list and not sure? Call and ask. If you are outside what we cover we will say so rather than send someone on a long drive to tell you in person.
The Same Ground Under All of It
One thing does not change from town to town here. The Geological Survey of Alabama classifies this region as karst terrain: limestone bedrock threaded with springs, caves and sinkholes formed as water slowly erodes rock underground. Above it, the Tennessee Valley's soils are fine-textured, silty and clay-rich, according to the Alabama Cooperative Extension System.
Clay-rich soil swells when it takes on water and shrinks when it dries out. Through wet winters and dry late summers, the ground under a house expands and contracts, and drainage decides how fast. That is the shared reason foundation work is routine business across the whole area, whether the house is a 1920s cottage or was finished last spring.
What We Do, Wherever You Are
- Foundation repair and stabilization - settling foundations stabilized with steel or helical piers.
- Foundation crack repair - crack injection and repairs for bowing or cracked block walls.
- Crawl space repair - sagging floors, damaged joists, failing supports.
- Crawl space encapsulation - sealing out ground moisture and humidity.
- Concrete leveling - sunken driveways, walks, patios and interior slabs.
Wondering what any of it costs? We keep an honest guide to foundation repair cost that explains what we can and cannot tell you before an inspection.
